Dr. Latham is an Orlando native who is passionate about providing the best treatment and care to the community and his patients. In addition to earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, he also earned his Dental Degree (DMD) from UF College of Dentistry. After completing medical school and a six-year surgical residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Latham returned home to Florida in 2014.
While at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Latham received extensive surgical training in dentoalveolar surgery (including wisdom tooth removal and a full range of dental implant procedures), corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery, office-based anesthesia, bone grafting, facial trauma, oral and facial pathology, and TMJ procedures. During residency, Dr. Latham trained under the nation’s top-ranked anesthesia department as well as with renowned experts in head and neck cancer. Most importantly, Dr. Latham was trained with the values of Mayo Clinic, including putting the needs of the patient first.
Dr. Latham is an active member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, Florida Dental Association, and Central Florida District Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Latham enjoys running, tennis, soccer, and spending time with family and friends. He is an avid fan of UF athletics and Orlando City Soccer Club. He is happily married to his wife, Allison, and they are blessed to have a son.
